Zombie Southern Style!

The little town of Senoia is about to be invaded....the filming of "The Walking Dead" is set to start within the next week in the downtown area....in addition to that is "The Southern Living Idea Home" opening the first week of June. Main Street may look like a movie set, but don't be afraid we will all be open for business....Don't forget, if there are movie props in front of our store, we have an entrance for both of our buildings in the back....We'll be sure to put signs up to guide you and you will be "protected from Zombies" in our store!

When all the visitors see our little town they are sure to say....

I'm not sure if "Zombies" wear jewelery, but if they did I'm sure they would like all the new jewels we have at the store.......such as

Or maybe these cool watches....

We also have a new line made by local artist Sue Mayhew...Sue takes antique pieces and makes them into these great necklaces and earrings....

This one was made with a Victorian boot clip....

This one from vintage watch faces....

These are made with old keys.....

This is my sister Lynn and my nephew Tucker...after they finished the Warrior Race in
 Mountain City, Georgia....

Speaking or "Warriors" this David Statue is hanging out at the store...literally...we had to put a little "leaf speedo" on him....

How about this re purposed hat and coat rack? Super cute!

For the Georgia Fans...

For the dog lovers...

I've got fresh lavender...fill up your cotton bag with drawstring for only $4.50 and say "Aha"...

This vintage stool speaks for itself....

I like "quirky" signs....

German table and benches...

It's hard to find good help....

This is a cool ottoman, lovely for your tootsies after a long day...

Alley- Prom- Mad at me for taking so many pictures....

China Cabinet, painted white, with wooden inlay...$495.00

Got Milk?
The earth is round...for sure...

Okay, so this is one of my favorite new things in the store...I love quirky things like this...It's an airline cart made into an island....this thing rolls like a dream and has easy foot pedals to lock it down...I know because I've been rolling it around pretending like I am a Flight Attendant....Oh, and the storage is great with this, it opens on both sides...It's GRRRREAT! $395.00 includes the two bar stools...
This is Munson, ....Munson loves Lake Burton as much as I do....
I feel like this next sign suits him to a tee....

This vintage glider ($250.00) would look great on your dock, your porch, your roof...okay, maybe not your roof...

Cydney and Hannah Raine...

Sometimes as "Junker" you see something and you think "I must have that...no matter what those will come to my store...." Enter these stations of the cross I purchased from a dealer in Buckhead....

I know what you are thinking..."she must be Catholic" but no, I'm just a good ol Baptist girl with a big wide "Catholic streak" in me....

There are 11 of them....

They are plaster....Late 1800s, from Northern Italy, Verona Area....

$550.00 for the set of 11....
I've got a pair of these lovelies.....$99.00 each....

I love it when we find old mirrors that are already "shabby chic" without us doing a thing to them...like this one!

And this one, Bebe painted with chalk paint...it's yum....

We've got some really cute frames in right now...this one is made from metal...

Oh, excuse me my phone is ringing...."Hello....uh huh, uh huh, uh huh...okay I'll tell them...."

See you soon! Lizzie
